My Phillies looked good yesterday when they demolished the Nats. Yes, I understand it was just the Nats, but it was a good start. Roy Halladay is looking like he's trying to win 20+ this season.
What do ya'll think about Jason Heyward? I'm hoping he can live up to expectations. He caught the 1st pitch from Hank Aaron then turned around and hit a homer on his first MLB at bat. That alone raised major expectations. Braves look pretty dangerous. They're the only team I'm concerned about in the NL. Chipper still got it.
Nats still suck
Dude from Atl is a beast
I need very cheap tickets to see the Phils play the Nats this week.
I kind of wish they would have let Strasburg pitch a complete game. I know that's unrealistic because they have to protect their investment, but he struck out 7 consecutive batters before being pulled. Dude was sick. His curve was nasty!

Alot of people that live in DC aren't from DC, so they already have their teams and what not set prior to living here.

true but i refuse to believe that many people are from LA let alone even been to LA in their life or even know anyone from LA
Lakers are like the Cowboys and Steelers. They have fans everywhere. It doesn't matter where they're from.

exactly.... i know this might be hard to fathom, in the media-sports age we live in but back when i started watchin basketball, lakers-celtics were apart of like all national tv games... then nbc got the rights and had a game or double header every week in the early 90's
I'm happy about the Phillies getting Oswalt, especially since they didn't have to trade Werth. I just think if they're paying that kind of money for him that they should've just kept Cliff Lee.
I'm ecstatic about the Phillies getting Cliff Lee. Something told me we were gonna snag him. I don't why I had that feeling because I knew that the Phillies couldn't afford what NY was offering.
I'm also extremely happy about the news because it is taking some of the steam off of the Favre sack riding that we would have to endure on ESPN because his streak is over.
Everybody thought David Ortiz was done, but that dude been killing it out there.
The Phillies are really getting on my nerves with the lack of run support they're giving the pitchers.
Basketball season is over, NFL still hasn't reached an agreement, Tiger Woods is injured...anybody wanna talk baseball?

Fuck the Red Sox!
They are scary good right now even though Crawford is out. The Yankees are hitting ridiculous amounts of home runs right now though.

Yea the Yankees are definitely smacking them outta the park, but the Red Sox are simply murdering teams. Every time I check to see if maybe they're losing, or they lost they're up 12-3 or something. I'm like wow, these guys are playing out of their minds right now. It's even scarier considering they started the season 2-10!
The Yankees let Lance Berkman go and he's been killing it for the Cardinals.
I know most of y'all aren't big baseball fans but last night was exciting. I'm amazed at how the Braves and Red Sox crumbled.

I actually watched the World Series game on Sunday and enjoyed it because it wasn't long and boring....
I prefer to actually be at baseball games live to really enjoy them (Durham Bulls games are so fun)
In America when you get dough you have to worry about extortion and wack lawsuits. In Central and South America when you get money you have to worry about getting kidnapped.
The Nationals' Wilson Ramos has been kidnapped while playing Winter Ball in Venezuela.
