they got me with the blu ray player. i just bought a damn blu ray back in Jan.

There are various types of 3D. TV Brands making glasses that only work for their sets. you gotta buy a 3D-Blu Ray player

when i bought a regular blu ray player back in Jan the 1st movie i bough was my bloody valentine in 3D which looks good on my samsung 50 inch plasma no 3D tv but now they saying that was old analog 3D wtf?

Its a shame. I went over one of my friend's house, he got a 50 sumthin size flatscreen. He was playing Prototype on the PS3 and this fool had the nerve to say that shit was clear. I knew better and checked which cable he was using and this guy was using A/V cables (the red yellow and white ones). I told him he needs to go buy an HDMI cable. About 4 weeks later this guy was like "man I didn't even know my tv could look that good!"

Freakin amateurs, don't know shit about technology but they want to try and participate in it. He the type that gets laughed at when he goes to Best Buy.

man i remember i was shocked the first night i copped my hdtv and aint have the hdmi cables for the ps3...niggas in the game was looking 50 pounds heavier. lmao screen was blurry..HDMi <<<<<is where its at.....i was relieved man. Idk, I got an optical port on mine as well. I never used it because none of my equipment such as PS3 or 360 have optical ports on them. I'm HDMI all day with my shit. Who needs optical when you have HDMI...

optical is for sound. your ps3 should have an optical port. if you have a 360 w/ hdmi than it should have come w/ an adapter that has optical.

but since hdmi does video and sound, you should be good.

My girl was like that. I basically just programmed all the HD channels so now when she hits the guide button, only HD channels show up. But instead of her watching HBO in HD, she be watching Dancing with the Stars in HD. Freakin women....

me too, and I got a small apartment so there's no excuse LOL. My bedroom don't get hardly none of the double digit channel numbers, only the triple digit joints.

Then in the living room, I'll have channels that I KNOW that ain't part of my package. I'm like "when the hell did I start getting Starz and Showtime" LOL

The only reason I don't complain to them about the bedroom situation is because I never watch TV there.

With some co ax cable from Home depot and a splitter, you can run your own lines...I got cable in my kitchen....I drilled the hole rom the living room and spliced it off that living room box....and that was it...took less than 15 min...

the main line coming in my house is not sending a strong enough signal
they said they have to run a new line in my house
so the box in my room dosen't work at all. for now im just running the cable straight to my tv. comcast moves damn near all the analog channel to digital so i get nothing above channel 29
