I'm buying Kinect.....
I'm wondering how the gameplay will be though......I can kinda see it working with the hand motions...but i wonder how it handles movement, like as far as moving forward and backward towards the xbox...that might throw things off...
It has limited games....but I like the Wii....so this will be close enough.
I moved my xbox upstairs to the bigger tv. Xbox Live automatically charged my card for renewal, and I'm pissed because I haven't used it in months. I guess I'll bring it back downstairs where I can hook it up to the internet...

the other day they had a month for $1....
I bought it...when to xbox.com and saw they had turned it back on.....fukkers.
I'ma use this month up...then decide...i don't be on live that much anymore....
I only used Xbox live once and that was when I played Stress in Madden. Oh yeah I used it to stream my Netflix, but I've just been watching on my computer lately. I'm gonna start streaming again so that I can get my money's worth.

somehow my xbl account renewed this month..and i didnt get charged. both the credit cards i had on the account were expired, and the accounts were closed.

its pretty easy man, the console walks you through the whole process. there are also guides on xbox.com that show you how to do it.

another thing people always forget..every xbox will give you a free trial period of xbl gold. when you are creating your account it will give u 30 free days. you can create up to 3 accounts and do this.

I don't think I want kinect, I got a wii and that was cool & all but the novelty of it wears off pretty fast and the actual gameplay gets boring most likely. atleast it did with the wii..... I enjoy doing the regular games. I bought an xbox basically to play alan wake, that's all I been playing on that so far
I was doing some ps3 online with the red dead redemption........I got a little bored with this joint for now.
the only games I beat on ps3 so far were god of war3 and uncharted, both were some sick ass games

I agree with the novelty of the wii...but I think Kinect might be a bit better...like u can do full body movements....vs. with the wii just waving your hand...i think it depends on the games they can develop though, right now the games they got for it are basic. But I like where the technology is going.....I think i'ma be playing games for the rest of my life....

yeah the wii is definately fun for a party or event...... no doubt about that, but just at the house by yourself it kinda sucks after a few times, that new super mario bro's was my shit, I hope they come out with part 2 on that

As far as games go on the Wii, there are really some gems out there but people don't really know about them for some reason. The Motion Plus thing really did make the "waggle" better because it mimics movement almost 1 to 1. Yall really need to check out Red Steel 2 though. The gameplay on that joint is off the hook.

If you're a fan of 2009, you'll love 2010 because they fixed a lot of the issues. You can pick specific moves for your created character now. Online training camps, actual training camps, better animations, submission switching, etc.
To be fair....UFC 2010 does have some online issues. I personally dont have this problem, but a lot of people complain about issues finding an online match. Its most likely related to their network settings. Then you got the cheesers and quitters, but those happen with any online game.

I've been burning up the DJ Hero for the last few days. I've had the damn thing for nearly a year and only played it once up until this past Monday, lol. Then I see that they're dropping the sequel in October.
XBL Gold is 29.99 today, 1 year subscription.
Anybody who liked the first DJ Hero needs to download the demo for DJ Hero 2. They pretty much fixed all the complaints I had with the first game. On this one they have freestyle sections where you can actually change up the song to sound the way you want it to sound.

Downloaded this joint last night. I do like the freestyle feature. For some reason I couldn't do the rewind though. Did they change how it's executed or was it operator error, lol?
Must have been operator error on that one. Everything worked fine for me. I think the freestyle sections give the player more control of the mixes now because I can actually make the scratch sound the way I want it to sound instead of a canned sound.

Dude I am so amped about Kinect...I got Sony Move and the games just arent impressive...they didint have a suite of games ready at launch...
Rapstar is rap Karoke but I enjoy the hell out of it...
I might pick up DJ Hero 2, I always meant to get 1 but never got around to it.
Just finished playing Def Jam Rapstar, and it's cool but I doubt it's a game I'd play much unless I have company.

no they were demo'ing (is that a word? ) it at gamestop so I played it.
Honestly as a graduate of EA Active on the Wii and jump rope might be cheaper but dont sleep. I used that in conjunction with my running training to run a 4 10K's, 3 5K's and a Half Marathon. It works.

The technology is early...but yeah, I was impressed too...in a few years when they're able to put this shit to a full Madden game....craziness...
What I'm trying to figure out is how long will this cycle of consoles last. I'm assuming we'll get at least another 5 years out of it before the next round of consoles since they are releasing Kinect and PS Move. What do yall think?

I know the Playstation was based on a 10 year model....so it'll be a while.
Wii probably will do an HD version...xbox will probably try to bundle with kinect and make new slim designs, etc...But I don't think next gens are coming soon..
..games are already in hi def...streaming.....its no real reason for companies to stop producing the current systmes until new tchnology comes out.
I'm starting to regret not getting dance central...but ive heard so many good things about it.

kinect sports is probably the best title out now. ive played almost all of them except the fitness ones.
deca sports and motion sports have real bad response from the sensor, i was pissed even though i downloaded them for free. fighters uncaged is a dope concept, but got old pretty quick.

i copped a triton ax 720 headset for my 360/ps3. as far as multiplayer, im on call of duty a lot... these headphones really add another dimension to the game. its almost not even fair sometimes lol.
its also real nice if you dont want to disturb the gf/wife/kids while you play.

I know I'm late, but I just recently got Madden 12. I already had NCAA 12, so I had played 8 seasons and saved that many draft classes. I'm so mad because when I imported the class into Madden it didn't have my players in there. According to stuff online you have to save the classes at a different screen. I'm so ticked because I feel like I wasted my time with NCAA, and now instead of having the players that I worked up through seasons I have to simulate to get the draft classes.
