I got mine from Footlocker in Regency...they didn't open til like 9:15...I went there after I came up short at Stony Point & lucked up...it was like 30+ people in the line at DTLR cuz they had more pairs...like 15 ppl in the line at Footlocker...two cats in front of me wore 10.5, I wear a 10 but usually cop 10.5 in foams...got to us and it was 1 10.5 and a 10...nigga in front of them wore a 11.5 they was out, he asked for a 12 they was out...he was bout to bounce then white chick gone encourage him to just cop the 10.5 and take out the insole...niggas is like c'mon yo, thats niggas behind him size what you doin...he goes for it and cops...we like nigga gone go a whole size down...wtf So one of the cats was assed out & I got the 10. It was bout 20 cats behind us who came up short. Security told them "Yall can just go home...aint no more!"

the huge jordan and the leather peices have to go, the rest could be salvaged and switched around a little.

The jordan game is all messed up now. it used to be a line for certain joints, and certain joints you could get days after release. Now its a line for EVERY SINGLE DAMN RETRO! Its because now instead of just having sneaker heads in line, you now got sneaker heads, resellers, AND people tryna compete and get whatever is new just because everybody else is talking about it

on the other hand, because of the increased emphasis on jordans and foams, you can cop airmaxes for dirt cheap, and that was NEVER EVER the case from my experience. When I worked at DTLR/Footlocker, any Air Max 95 sold out before going on sale unless it was a real left field color. Now they ALL go on sale. 95s, 97s, 360s, 24/7s, etc can be found for dirt cheap

I just came back from a live auction for these sneakers at a shop here in Chicago. They had, I think, 1 pair per size; from sizes 8 to 12. There might have been other sizes and multiple pairs per size, but I didn't pay close enough attention. What I did notice, however, is that damn near every pair-if not every pair- sold for more than 2k. There was a crowd of at least 150 people packed in the smallish shop. It looked like everyone wore their best sneakers too. It was awesome seeing so many cool shoes on so many people's feet. What wasn't cool was the damn weed stink in the air. I think I got a contact high! But yeah, they all sold for over 2k. Crazy.
I bought a 10.5 on ebay for $1000 and dude flaked and refunded my payment, another dude on nt I paid $1000 again for a sz 11 and he sent me pics of his broken rear window in his car and says they were stolen with his stereo and refunded. Unreal

dumb move now i realize. at the time though i was tryna gain a competitive edge.

dude at union had the space jams and painted his sole black. so we painted our souls black on the breds. I was the man for like 6months. people tried to buy them off my feet and everything. I had the VCU bball team at the time like "YO SON!!"

It was all good til that paint started chipping away. so i had to repaint them everytime I wanted to wear them. eventually i said eff it and now they look horrible

one of my boys painted his before even wearing them, so because his sole was never creased...his paint never cracked and his pair still looks straight. I painted mines AFTER they've been worn, so the paint in the creases chipped after 6 months.

also, in those days I cared NOTHING about the preservation of shoes. as soon as i got a new pair, I balled in the old pair. I balled in the black/red 11s (pre, during, and post paint)...cool greys (dummy move of a lifetime)...black and grey 17s...white/silver 5s..raptor 7s...etc

So im in Portland... And lucky me, our hotel is right next to a niketown. My goal was to cop the lebron mangos but alas they didn't have any. But they have the lebron foams on display and they are dope. The green dunk man ones are really dope.

Anyway so I'm in my hotel and remembered that I also wants the blue galaxy dunks...tweeted niketown Seattle, they informed me that, you guessed it niketown Portland has it in my size. So I walked next door and copped. And I have a lead on 3 possible stores for the mangos if I can't get the summit lakes or Easter pack.

Also my wife had to go to Sacramento for business she goes into Nike outlet see the Orion vii for 99 so she got those for me.
