Been reading a lot of the posts on here and reading peoples comments and I'm want to know why there is so much hate on the music of today? Why is there a problem? Is it just The south period yall don't like or just that hip hop aint the same as yall remembered and liked it to be?...one thing I want to say is I though hip hop and gangsta rap was two different genres...talk to me people cause I love all music no matter what side of the country its from minus the fagget music...

Its mostly because the bullshit music gets a lot of attention and its not a balance as far as mainstream too much. Niggas wanna be international and all that type of stuff or niggas making songs just to get played on the radio and shit. Now there is good music being made but it gets no exposure at all. Don't mean shit to me either way cause its all entertainment for me. Ill go listen to some soul music and be fine

I liked when you had your lyrical cats...then you could get you pro black on with PE or Paris or the occassional BDP...or you could bump De La or Jungle Brothers or ATCQ....or the hardcore stuff....then NWA shit....Now....er'body is lil this and young that....and I can't tell who is who when they rhyme on the radio....I can't tell if it's Gucci or Jeezy or Waka Flocka or the next man....SO gimme my 1980's-late 90's indie hip hop. I'm done "Hating" on the new stuff. I just wont buy/play/or care about it. dat all.


Your title says "I don't see the problem." How old are you? That may be a reason why it looks to be all good to you. If you're young.....your assessment of the current trends may not seem foreign to you.....I'll be 37 in a few weeks....and that's why I am comfortable in my zone.
