My sister lives in Irvington, NJ, and she's already been in more accidents in the two years since she's had a license than I've been in the 12+ years since I've had mine. She pays like $3-something a month in car insurance. I don't even pay half that, and I'm insuring two cars.

Where we live now it only takes about 25 mins because we take the pkwy to 123 to 95 and it's the next exit. Driving to NC, however, is traffic EVERY time. From Woodbridge to at least Fredericksburg.

Click the link to read the complete article. 757 traffic can be terrible going through the tunnel, especially around rush hour or when major events are occurring in the area. I remember I was stuck outside the tunnel for about 2 hours one time. I have also heard of stories where people were stuck for 4 hours. NOVA is still much worse overall.

What I HATE about the 757 is that for large stretches of 64...the speed limit is only 55, and the cops enforce it HEAVY. On top of that, as soon as you hit 757, it condenses at some parts to only 2 lanes.

Hampton University's fears over HRBT widening

HAMPTON – An improved Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel (HRBT) may be decades away but Hampton University has expressed its opposition to any potential moves to widen the I-64 to the south where it could impact university property.

Rodney Smith, HU's Vice President for Administrative Services, expressed the university's concerns in a formal response to Angel Deem, the project manager with Virginia Department of Transportation.

A state study has named a number of historic sites that a plan to extend the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel from four to eight lanes could impact. They include Fort Wool, historic Phoebus and parts of Hampton University. Deem has requested feedback.

Smith said there are four properties in the area of potential impact that are of special interest to Hampton University.

There are three properties on Strawberry Banks Boulevard, a farm dating from 1817, the 1817 Carriage House and a hotel built in 1962. He also mentions the Elmerton Cemetery on N. King Street, which is not on HU property but contains the grave of Mary Peake. Peake started a school for children of former slaves in Hampton in 1861 under a tree now known as the Emancipation Oak.

Last week local historian John Quarstein expressed concerns to the Daily Press about the impact of a road widening near the Emancipation Oak.

"It should be noted beyond a shadow of a doubt that any attempt to further expand southward the access corridor along I-64 eastward toward the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel into Hampton University property, namely Strawberry Banks proper, will be met with the strongest and most determined opposition at all costs," Smith wrote.

He stressed the importance of sites related to the history of African Americans. "Hampton University will strongly oppose any project which negatively impacts any historical site regarding the life, death, struggles, successes, community and culture of the African Americans, both slaves and free who lived, learned, worked, fought, raised families and died in the Hampton, Virginia area, and in particular any property owned or related to Hampton University including Strawberry Banks."

VDOT is weighing the merits of three competing proposals by private companies to expand the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel to eight lanes.

Any improvements to the HRBT could take decades to implement, especially after improvements to crossings on the South Hampton Roads were prioritized by the state.

i know a few people that have been on reality shows.
after he was on the show, days later they asked him to come back (flew him from New Orleans to NYC) to re shoot one scene of him going to an invent, after the event already happened.
They just needed that clip to coincide with the original scene to help create the storyline they wanted to portray to viewers.
In another show they had a supervisor of a company portray a shopper walking in the store and complimenting an item. Advertising tactic.

Overall in many of these reality shows the drama is real but you have producers that are great in manipulating events they want to happen by placing people in the same location WITH ALCOHOL.........
It don't matter what reality show you are watching. 90% of the time you sill see people sipping on alcohol.

According to spokeswoman Aimee Metrick, “We know some D.C. area viewers missed portions of last night’s NFC Championship game due to additional ads inserted locally, and we sympathize with their frustrations ... WTTG believes it was due to an equipment failure at their station.”

WTTG Fox has not returned a call for comment. Metrick said she believes the station is working to ensure it would not happen again.

well I don't really loan money either........ it's more of, I give you these cards to sell and you owe me this back after you sell the cards type of situation..... then I know for a fact the person sold the cards, but haven't heard from them in over a month, when I typically deal with the person on cards twice a week.

I don't loan out cash money either....... I either just give it to someone, or don't loan it period...... I don't even like to think about having to try to get money back on a loan.

the last time I loaned a guy money it was the tattoo guy I was dealing with to help him get out of jail, he makes plenty of money and still tried to get over, I said forget that shit man never again. It was against my better judgement to loan him the money in the first place, I should have rolled with that, I almost had to crack his head for the money but then his mom paid it for him.

I don't like going to sit-down restaurants unless it's a buffet LOL. Chinese buffets are my joints! Golden Corral is cool as far as the food goes, but I hate how most of them are organized. It really becomes problematic when they are packed.

To me, buffets are worth it because you don't have to wait for your food to cook and you always get your money's worth.

Other sit-down restaurants are cool, such as Red Lobster and Olive Garden, but I only like going to those places for the bread.

I stay away from Cici's because I lack restraint when it comes to pizza. All you can eat??? And their deserts be hittin??? That joint will have my dahbeetus sky high.

In all honesty I don't trust most Chinese buffets. I've never gone to one and didn't have a headache and mudbutt later on.

Red Lobster is ok. The biscuits will always be hittin but the food quality has gone down.

Golden Corral is cool but I'm kind of a germaphobe when it comes to there, so if it's packed I lose my appetite quick. Utensils falling in the food after people had their hands on it, poor heating of the food, and nasty, snotty kids touching foods makes me wanna vomit.

People try to play OG like it's horrible, but if nothing else their salad is dope.

But as far as buffets as a whole go, I like the variety especially if you're in a group with picky people. I did see on Dr. Oz a couple weeks ago about how much lower the quality of the food is in all you can eat spots. Restaurants aren't in the business to lose money. They aren't gonna offer you all that you can eat of something unless they can afford to do it. Therefore those skrimps at RL are the ones that would normally get thrown out, but they bread them up, and dunk them in butter so you don't know the difference.

Pizza Hut has a special right now where you can get a Medium pizza unlimited toppings, cinnamon sticks and bread sticks all for $10.00 and that shit comes all in 1 box. I guarantee you can not eat all that shit and the pizza is cut box style.
